Raleigh R700

The R700 is a real race bike. The aluminum tubes are light and are a aerodynamic tear drop shape. The frame rides very smoothly. Every pedal stroke translates directly into speed. The crank is responsive and stiff. This bike is completely stable even at high speeds (35-50MPH). The running gear is full Ultegra with a 105 Bottom bracket which all runs flawlessly. The carbon fork lends to a smooth non-jarring ride with plenty of road feel. The R535 wheelset is a stiff and responsive aero wheelset. Overall the R700 is a great race bike that looks sharp and performs like a dream. Raleigh paid close attention to detail when making this bike. From the Ultegra hardware to the Prolink Saddle, from the carbon fork to the shaped seatstays and chain stays everything is taken into account. You won't get a better bike at this price.
